WHO WE ARE

We are highly qualified, experienced adaptive ski instructors who are deeply passionate about providing high quality opportunities for people with disabilities to enjoy the benefits of snowsports.

OUR MISSION

Adaptive Snowsport Collective was created to provide equal access to snowsports for people with any form of physical, sensory or leaning disability. We believe that everyone deserves to have the opportunity to enjoy the endless benefits that snowsports provide.

We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) which means we were created to benefit the adaptive snowsports community and as we grow, we plan to support opportunities for adaptive skiers, their families and adaptive instructors in any way we can.

We deliver adaptive ski lessons at Glenmore Lodge, The Lecht and Cairngorm Mountain in Scotland as well as offering online video sessions. When delivering lessons, we believe that adaptive skiers deserve access to the best possible equipment and teaching methods and we aim to constantly aim to improve what we offer.

Inclusion

We believe skiing should be available to everyone. We work hard to remove barriers whether they are physical, practical or psychological so that everyone can get on skis.

Expertise

Our instructors hold nationally recognised adaptive snowsport qualifications and undergo continuous professional development.

Individuality

No two skiers are the same. We tailor every session to the individual, their disability, their goals, their experience level, and their personality.

Community

We are a collective, not a corporation. We work closely with disability organisations, families, and the wider snowsport community to champion inclusive skiing.
